Some easy walks with fantastic scenery and our favourites are:

- take the car to the National Trust car park at Bedruthan Steps.  From there head right along the coast path to see the steps themselves (access to the beach is closed due to rock fall, and that bit is pretty steep) - best view is from the top of the path before the steep downhill bit.  Turn left on the coast path for a lovely walk down into Mawgan Porth where you can get coffee or lunch before heading back.

- drive round to New Polzeath (through Wadebridge and out on the Rock road).  Park on the front or in the pay-and-display.  The coast path heads off around Pentire Pt towards the Iron Age settlement and is a lovely short loop with cracking views over Port Isaac bay all the way up to Tintagel. This walk is also accessible from the National Trust site at Pentyre Point (car park and cafe).

- from the house head over past Prideaux Place to Tregirls Farm.  From there drop down onto the beach and at low tide walk all the way back into town on the sand.  First thing we do every time we come to Padstow.
